Changing Lives One Stay At A Time.

Here at the Beachcomber Hotel we love to make a difference in people lives. We all have a responsibility with each of our lives and the choices we make to create a positive impact on the world. We love the quote “be the change you want to see in the world” and so we have started to make some changes within our business.

When you stay at the Beachcomber Hotel you are impacting the community and playing a part in impacting people’s lives through our Changing Lives Program. With every night you stay with us, we are donating $1 per room, per
night to make a difference in people’s lives. The recipient/s of this donation will be chosen monthly by our team and/or guests.

This is a new initiative and really excites us. What we do here has always been much bigger than us and this quote by Winston Churchill says it all: “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give”.

• For the month of April we used the funds to encourage a local person in a time of need with a beautiful gift basket.
• Time to treat all our team to a dinner out to one of our favourite Nelson restaurants.
• This month we purchased some kids rugy boots to donate to a local rugby club.
