Perfect for a short break or for the corporate traveller, these compact units have a balcony and some are accessible. Can accommodate up to 2 people.
Note: we have Standard Studio’s in the main hotel and the adjoining Lodge, so room may differ from one shown.

Suitable for a longer stay with King or twin beds. Most accommodate 2 people, several of the Kitchen Studios can accommodate 4 people

These rooms include an indulgent spa bath perfect for a relaxing break. Can accommodate up to 4 people.
Family Unit
Spread out and relax! These units consist of a Kitchen Studio and Standard Studio interconnecting and can sleep up to 4 people.

Our spacious Large Studio Rooms are perfect for couples on a short break or the single/corporate traveller. The units can accommodate up to 3 people
One Bedroom Unit
Space and comfort with a separate bedroom and kitchenette. Can accommodate up to 4 people.

Accommodating up to 3 people the unit includes kitchenette and dining/lounge area. The bathroom features a shower over a spa bath and sauna. These units are all upstairs and overlook the gardens.

What we do is all about you, our guests. Our mission is to make your stay everything you need it to be, we love the quote, “enter as guests and leave as friends”.
We’re Nelson locals, both born and brought up in Brightwater, just south of Nelson. Nelson is home to us and we love our region and our country. Having travelled a lot and lived in Auckland, Zambia, Italy and Hong Kong, we really appreciate all Nelson and New Zealand has to offer and we love sharing our favourite places and things to do with our guests.
We’ve been in the accommodation industry for 7 years and have been the new owners of The Beachcomber since late 2017. Over the coming months we will be continually upgrading and improving every aspect of the guests experience at The Beachcomber. We are asking all guests for their constructive input into the process, who better to ask what needs to be done or improved than our current guests!
We will be posting regular updates of all the upgrades and everything we do on our facebook page, so please follow us to keep an eye on everything we get up to as we look to transform The Beachcomber .
